Nodal Property ("we", "us", "our") operates short-stay rental properties across England under rent-to-rent agreements with landlords. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, and what rights you have over it, in line with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
Nodal Property is the data controller for the personal data described in this policy. You can contact us at neucoon.properties@yahoo.com for any privacy-related question or request.
Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect:
We use personal data to: respond to enquiries; take and manage bookings; meet our legal obligations as a short-let operator (including safety, tax, and Right to Rent requirements); and manage our relationships with landlords and team members. We do not use personal data for advertising, and we do not sell personal data to third parties.
We process personal data under one or more of the following bases: performance of a contract (e.g. a booking or lease), compliance with a legal obligation (e.g. HMRC or Right to Rent requirements), and legitimate interest in running our business (e.g. responding to enquiries).
We keep financial and tax-related records for at least six years, in line with HMRC requirements. Booking and guest records are kept for as long as reasonably necessary for the stay and any related legal or insurance purposes. General enquiries are kept only as long as needed to respond and follow up.
We may share relevant data with landlords (where necessary for the tenancy), booking platforms (e.g. Airbnb, Booking.com), and authorities where we are legally required to (such as HMRC or, where applicable, local authorities). We do not sell or rent personal data to third parties for marketing purposes.
This website does not currently use tracking or advertising cookies. If that changes (for example, if we add analytics in future), this policy will be updated accordingly and, where required, we will ask for your consent first.
Under UK GDPR, you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it (subject to our legal retention obligations), object to certain processing, and ask for your data in a portable format. To exercise any of these rights, email neucoon.properties@yahoo.com.
If you're unhappy with how we've handled your personal data, please contact us directly first so we can try to put it right. You also have the right to complain to the UK's supervisory authority, the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).
We may update this policy from time to time as our business or the law changes. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised.
